Kobese Wutu (27.06.1973)

South African International Master. Kobese was the National Champion several times and he spent some time in Germany and the USA.

A participant in the World Championships in 1999, 2001 and 2004 and has also participated in nine Olympiads since 1992 and to the 2005 World Cup.

His father, Arthur Kobese, was one of the Founding members of Chess South Africa. He was Interim President in 1994 and 1995 and was elected President from 1996 – 2001.
