Korneev has won a lot of tournaments, he is probably the most active Grandmaster in the world by playing 200 to 300 games per year. According to FIDE, he played 80 games in a three-month period in 2007 — a record. He said in 2005: This year he had to travel about 60 000 km to earn a living!
